PURCHASING from this website means that the purchaser has read understood and agreed with these terms and conditions. All users of this site agree that access to and use of this site are subject to the following terms and conditions and other applicable laws. AbsoluteSkin will be happy to accept returns on any unused and unopened items within 30 days of receipt. For hygienic reasons, to ensure the purity of our products we do not accept returns on opened or used merchandise. In all cases, Gift with Purchase items must be sent back unused and unopened and in a perfect condition so the product can be resold together with your return items in order for a refund to be processed. When we receive your return, we will notify you. Your Gift with Purchase must accompany your return. For orders that we may not be able to fulfill completely, we reserve the right to substitute items with a suitable alternative. AbsoluteSkin complies fully with the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa.
NB: Please note that we do not do refunds on nail polish orders. Should we not have the shade that you want please choose another shade. Alternatatively we can offer a Gift Card to the value of the nail polish purchased.
OPI - While we carry a large range of OPI shades in stock we cannot guarantee delivery in under 3 days working days. Due to the vast range of shades we cannot carry all the shades in stock, therefore the shipping date is between 4 to 5 working days from date of order. This will provide us with enough time to source these products from our supplier.
While we gladly supply and ship to all countries outside of South Africa, We are not liable nor do we hold ourselves responsible for foreign countries import requirements, and cannot accept parcels that are returned or destroyed due a foreign countries import restrictions or laws. Should such parcels be returned to AbsoluteSkin no refunds can be made under such conditions.
You must contact us for any items that need to be returned. Returns that are not authorized may experience delays in processing or not be accepted as a return at all..
Returns that are received with proper authorization will be refunded or credited to your account as soon as possible after receipt. Refunds that qualify will be processed and may take up to 10 business days to appear on your statement depending on the banks, Gateway and your financial institution delays. When the refund is processed, you will receive an email notification from AbsoluteSkin for your records.
Please note that original shipping charges paid by you the client are not refundable and any shipping is for the client's own account.
Damaged goods will require an image of the damaged goods to be forwarded to AbsoluteSkin for checking, Refunding, replacing will be solely at the discretion of AbsoluteSkin.
Refunds may carry a 30% fee as per cancellation of orders e.g. for incorrect items ordered and a refund requested, this is to cover our processing costs such as bank transaction charges etc. However should you wish your account to be credited the sales amount will not be subject to a cancellation fee however shipping fees in all cases are non refundable.
Damaged in transit
We take extreme care to ensure the goods are packaged securely to arrive in excellent condition. Any claims for carrier damaged items must be submitted to us within 7 business days after receipt of your delivery. To ensure a prompt resolution to your situation, please return the box, packing materials, and the damaged items to AbsoluteSkin. Any refund or re-ship will be processed following inspection of the product.
Please note: We do not accept returns under any circumstances for bottles that are faulty, pumps not working or tubes that have burst.
It is always important to use products as directed on the label, but in the extreme case your skin becomes irritated or shows signs of an allergic reaction, stop using the product immediately and contact us to speak to one of our skin therapists (no later than 14 days from purchase date). If our skin therapist identifies that the product purchased caused a adverse skin reaction we will adhere to our suppliers decision as to what procedure must be followed.
Incorrectly Ordered Items:
Accidents happen and we will accommodate you as best as possible. If you have incorrectly ordered an item, please call us to let us know. The product will need to be returned and received by us in pristine condition, unopened, unused and the packaging not damaged in anyway. All shipping charges for the product/s returned to us and replacement products sent out are the responsibility of the customer.
Due to the nature of Make-Up products and the many colours and shades we cannot accept these items for return, and request that item colours are checked prior to purchase.

Cancellation of orders
Orders placed may be cancelled at anytime by you, prior to payment. Should payment be received the order may only cancelled and subject to the following Terms and Fees:
a) Prior to payment - 0%
b) Prior to shipment but after having made payment - 20%
c) After packing, shipment and return to AbsoluteSkin (packaged unopened) - plus shipping costs.no cancellation.
d) After the package is shipped but not delivered - 25% (Plus shipping costs)
d) After the package is delivered by the shippers - no cancellation.
Exchanging delivered Products
We will gladly replace products that you purchased from us even after the products have been delivered to you as long as the products have not been opened and the shipping is for your account plus a admin and handing fee to cover this cost. Please contact us prior to returning goods for exchange so we are aware that the product is returned for exchange, (All shipping costs to be bourne by you)
Should an item be out of stock for more than 7 days from the date of placement of an order, AbsoluteSkin will inform the client and the client will have the following options:
1) To wait until the product becomes available and in stock again. AbsoluteSkin will ship outstanding "Free of charge" to the client.
2) To cancel the item and have the cost of the item either credited to the clients account or have the cost of the item refunded into the clients banking account.
3) Credit/Debit Card refunds and reversals are made through our payment gateway Payfast.
4) Should a purchased item be discontinued then a client may opt to purchase another similar product or have the product refunded into the clients account or banking account.
As we replenish stock almost on a daily basis from the suppliers - the situation may arise where both the supplier and AbsoluteSkin are out of stock - In this case the client will be contacted and section 4 above applies.
Account Credits and Refunds
AbsoluteSkin will gladly refund you when the error is due to the fault of AbsoluteSkin eg Item out of STOCK. No Other refunds will be given and we will provide you with GIFT VOUCHER.
AbsoluteSkin uses FASTWAY Courier Services, MDS Colliery to ship your parcels, Should a parcel be stolen or go missing AbsoluteSkin will replace the parcel or goods to the max value of R1,000.00 (Only within South African territory). Parcel tracking numbers are e-mailed to you once the parcel has been shipped with further instructions regarding the delivery if required:
AbsoluteSkin is not responsible for late deliveries nor does AbsoluteSkin Guarantee any delivery dates or times, as the cause may be out AbsoluteSkin's hands, these causes are normally due to incorrect addresses supplied, delivery vehicle failure, Strikes. etc.
AbsoluteSkin provides clients with a continual flow Specials and Discounts, gifts thus making AbsoluteSkin the first choice of thousands of happy South African's.
Specials may be from AbsoluteSkin or from AbsoluteSkin's suppliers and may be purchased under the following conditions.
All Specials on AbsoluteSkin are only made available for a certain period of time and are subject to stock availability. Specials may only be purchased whilst it is being advertised on www.absoluteskin.co.za and must be fully paid for during this period. AbsoluteSkin reserves the right not to honour any order that contains expired special deals or discounts.
Any items purchased on sale or our bargain section, or clearance are not returnable or refundable
All Specials/Gifts Promo's etc. are applied on the basis of 1 per order or customer. Only while stocks last!
Items such as Cleansers, Toners, Mini's, Trial sizes do not qualify as products regarding all specials, nor do they qualify to add to an orders value.
Should an advertised special becomes unavailable AbsoluteSkin reserves the right to replace the special with another product at the choice of AbsoluteSkin.
AboluteSkin offers all clients a loyalty discount in the form of a Loyalty Points which is redeemable as payment or part payment when you purchase from AbsoluteSkin again.
1) Purchases under the value of R350 do not qualify for Loyalty Points.
2) International purchases where the products are shipped outside of South Africa do not qualify for Loyalty Points.
3) Purchases made from Neighbouring States do qualify for Loyalty Vouchers.
4) Special discount promotions such as Black Friday do not qualify for loyalty discount.
NB: Should a client not redeem Loyalty within a period of one calendar year any Loyalty Rewards are automatically expired. The Loyalty Voucher must be utilized and redeemed within one year of purchase.
Gift Certificates may only be used to purchase merchandise and cannot be used to purchase other Gift Certificates.
Returning Orders Paid by Gift Certificates
An online store credit will be issued to the gift recipient for the full amount of the merchandise return subject to the return conditions. AbsoluteSkin does not offer exchanges or cash refunds for Gift Certificate purchases. Any funds charged to a credit card will be Reimbursed to the client cheque or savings account.
Store credits have been converted into Gift Vouchers and the terms are are the same as the normal loyalty vouchers. but do not expire after a period of one but need to be renewed.
We do not deliver to any countries outside of South Africa, with the exception of the Neighbouring States, or for that matter place orders for delivery inside South Africa that are intended for further shipment to countries outside of South Africa for the purpose of reselling. Please make these purchases from the local distributors in these countries. Should we receive such orders we hold the right to refuse these orders or decline them and return any moneys paid less 20% admin and handling fees. Please contact us in this regard prior making any such purchases.
Limitation of Liability
AbsoluteSkin shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if AbsoluteSkin has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
In the event that an AbsoluteSkin product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price or a product's specifications are incorrectly advertised, AbsoluteSkin reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. AbsoluteSkin reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, AbsoluteSkin shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by AbsoluteSkin without notice at any time, for any reason whatsoever. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.
AbsoluteSkin may deliver notice to you by means of e-mail, a general notice on the site, or by other reliable method to the address you have provided to AbsoluteSkin.
Your use of this site shall be governed in all respects by local,South African Laws, without regard to choice of law provisions, You agree that jurisdiction over and venue in any legal proceeding directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to this site (including but not limited to the purchase of AbsoluteSkin products) shall be in South Africa. Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to the site (including but not limited to the purchase of AbsoluteSkin products) must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises. AbsoluteSkin's failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Neither the course of conduct between the parties nor trade practice shall act to modify any of these terms and conditions. AbsoluteSkin may assign its rights and duties under this Agreement to any party at any time without notice to you.
Use of Site
Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via e-mail, chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Impersonation of others, including a AbsoluteSkin or other licensed employee, host, or representative, as well as other members or visitors on the site is prohibited. You may not upload to, distribute, or otherwise publish through the site any content which is libelous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable which may constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party or which may otherwise give rise to liability or violate any law. In an attempt to provide increased value to our visitors, AbsoluteSkin may link to sites operated by third parties. However, even if the third party is affiliated with AbsoluteSkin, AbsoluteSkin has no control over these linked sites, all of which have separate privacy and data collection practices, independent of AbsoluteSkin. These linked sites are only for your convenience and therefore you access them at your own risk. What information do we collect?

To modify your e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the "My Account" section. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production.
To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the "My Account" section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.
