WHAT IS DRY SKIN?
Dry skin refers to skin lacking in oil. The skin naturally produces oil called sebum which is important to keep it hydrated, nourished, and maintain a sufficient skin barrier which acts as the first line of protection. Dry skin can be hereditary but can also be aggravated by the sun, hard water, exposure to air pollution and ageing.ย
WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT DRY SKIN?
- Use an effective yet mild cleanser that leaves skin feeling soft and clean
- Exfoliate the skin twice weekly with a non-granular exfoliant to increase cellular turnover and remove excess dead skin cells
- Always use a specific nourishing serum underneath a nourishing moisturiser morning and evening
- Apply a skin-restoring face mask and leave overnight for an in-depth skin nourishing effect
